MonSPHERE
Deployment

Run MonSPHERE where your data has to live

From a fully managed cloud plan to an air-gapped Docker Compose deployment with offline licensing — the same platform, deployed the way your environment requires.

MonSPHERE Cloud

Fully managed — we run the Postgres, Redis, NATS, and metrics stack. You just install agents.

  • Zero infrastructure to operate
  • Automatic upgrades
  • Usage-based plan limits, tracked in real time

Self-Hosted

Run the entire stack inside your own infrastructure with the same Docker Compose file we use.

  • Full control over data residency
  • No outbound dependency once deployed
  • Upgrade on your own schedule

Enterprise

Self-hosted plus an Enterprise license, Platform Admin console, and custom subscription limits.

  • Enterprise license type via the License service
  • Platform Admin cross-organization console
  • Custom plan limits, not the default tiers

Docker

Every service ships as a multi-stage Docker build — the same image runs in development and production.

  • 21 service images from one Dockerfile pattern
  • Consistent dev/prod parity
  • Health-checked container startup

Docker Compose

The reference deployment: one docker-compose.yml wires up all 28 containers, including Postgres, Redis, NATS, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, and Alertmanager.

  • docker compose up -d and you're running
  • Matches the exact stack this site documents
  • No orchestration platform required

Kubernetes

Workloads running on Kubernetes are fully monitorable today via the MonSPHERE agent and standard exporters. A dedicated Helm chart for deploying MonSPHERE itself onto Kubernetes is on the roadmap, not shipped yet.

  • Monitor K8s workloads today via the agent
  • MonSPHERE control plane itself: Docker Compose only, for now
  • Helm chart: see the Roadmap

Air-Gapped Deployment

The entire stack runs with no outbound internet dependency once container images are mirrored into your registry.

  • No SaaS callbacks required at runtime
  • Local Postgres, Redis, NATS, and metrics stack
  • Offline license activation, see below

Offline License

The License service supports a dedicated offline license type, activated with a key that doesn't require an outbound validation call.

  • cloud / enterprise / offline license types
  • Activation, renewal, and revocation via Platform Admin
  • Designed for disconnected environments
